Hello & Welcome. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts. I also received my PhD in Developmental Psychology, specializing in parent support and child development.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked across diverse settings—from mental health clinics and early childhood programs to universities and international forums—providing counseling, teaching, and expert consultation on child development, adoption, parenting, and personal growth.
As a therapist, I work with my clients on healthy relationships, self-discovery, stress management, and academic & career development. I also support parents through complex challenges, such as parent-child relationships, adoption, childhood trauma, and emotional/behavioral issues.
I integrate strength-based and trauma-informed approaches with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to foster your wellbeing and gently support your healing from the inside out—at your pace, with care and respect. When needed, I’ll offer strategies to help you navigate challenges with greater ease and confidence.

Kaiser Permanente
Dr. Wang is currently in-network with Kaiser. Before scheduling psychotherapy or assessment/evaluation services with us, all clients need a verified external referral from Kaiser after their screening. Please contact your Kaiser clinic for processing. If you do not have the referral, Kaiser will not reimburse your fees. If you have an older referral, we advise you to call the clinic to confirm it is still valid.
Other Insurance/Self Pay
Dr. Wang is an out-of-network provider for other insurances. If you use our services, you will be expected to pay the full fee yourself. We offer you Superbill receipts for the service you receive from us, and you can submit them to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Most insurance companies may cover part of the fee (50-80% typically) for out-of-network providers like us.
