Keziah Lyu, PSYD

Dr. Lyu is a licensed clinical psychologist who provides psychological evaluations and comprehensive diagnostic assessments for children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Lyu has worked in a variety of settings, including hospital, forensic, school, and community mental health. She has experience with providing psychological assessments (cognitive functioning, personality and emotional functioning) for diagnostic and treatment purposes, and she has also specialized in testing specifically for ADHD and ASD. Her goal is to help clients feel understood and to empower individuals to take positive and concrete steps toward health and wellness in all areas of their lives.

What to expect: 

In a confidential and comfortable environment, children and their families participate in a thorough interview process to assess and evaluate the nature of the present concerns. A flexible testing battery (the instruments used for evaluation) is individualized for each child’s unique background and the goals of the assessment. At the conclusion of the evaluation, a feedback session is held with the parents and child to discuss information gathered during testing, overall impressions, and recommendations going forward. A comprehensive written report is also provided for each family.

Dr. Lyu does not provide psychotherapy in our clinic, she provide psychological testing services only.

What are the prices for the psychological assessment?

Here are estimations for some major assessment services, prices may vary after the initial screening, more testing and price options, along with sliding scale fee opportunities, are on our assessment department webpage:

• Intellectual assessment (IQ Test, age 4+ at the time of testing): $850 (sliding scale fee available)

• ASD Autism evaluation: $3000

• ADHD evaluation only: $4500

• ADHD evaluation with other additions: $5500

• Other neuropsychological testing available

Do you accept insurance?

Clients with insurance from Kaiser Permanente require an external referral from Kaiser. Please contact your Kaiser clinic for processing. If you do not have the referral, Kaiser will not reimburse your fees. If you have an older referral, we advise you to call the clinic to confirm it is still valid.

Mind and Body Garden Psychology is not currently in-network with other insurance providers for assessment services. Payments are out-of-pocket to be paid directly to our clinic, but we can provide a superbill to help you with seeking reimbursement from insurance providers. If you intend to seek insurance reimbursement, please contact your insurance provider to clarify your insurance benefits/reimbursement for out-of-network services. Insurance companies may sometimes require that you seek pre-authorization.
